Principal's Message

I am excited to welcome you back to school for the 2023-2024 year at Social Circle Elementary School! At SCES, we strive to support your child by addressing his/her social, emotional, and learning needs in the most appropriate way. In addition to that, we do everything in our power to foster a genuine love for learning for our students. As principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through the doors of SCES--staff, students, parents, and visitors--are happy and excited to be here! A positive attitude enables us to all meet the challenges of academic excellence in a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment. We want students to believe they can succeed and give them many opportunities to be successful.

At Social Circle Elementary School, our mission is to Support the CHAMP in Every Student. We have an outstanding faculty and staff at SCES that works relentlessly to ensure that all of our students succeed. Our teachers are dedicated, nurturing, and highly-qualified individuals who deliver standards-based instruction through best practices in education. If we work together we will accomplish our goals! I encourage you to stay in contact with your child’s teacher about how they are progressing academically and behaviorally.

As principal for both Social Circle Primary and Social Circle Elementary, I strive to be available to students, parents, and staff as much as possible. Please always feel free to reach out to me at any time. Since I work with both schools, the simplest way to reach me is via email. From there, I can call you and/or set up a time to meet with you.
