PTO
Dear SCES Families,
As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, I am honored to continue serving as your PTO President. I look forward to partnering with our families, teachers, staff, and community to make this an incredible year. A new school year brings fresh opportunities to connect, support one another, and create meaningful experiences that help every child feel successful, valued, and engaged.
To better serve our growing school community and support the many activities and events planned for this year, we have expanded our PTO Board. This growth allows us to increase family engagement opportunities, strengthen support for students, teachers, and staff, enhance communication, and ensure that our committees can focus on the areas that matter most to our school. We are excited to have a dedicated team of volunteers working together to make a positive impact throughout the year.

SCES PTO remains dedicated to strengthening the connection between home and school while supporting our students, teachers, and staff in meaningful ways. Our mission is to build a welcoming and inclusive school community through collaboration, communication, and volunteerism.
This year, our efforts will focus on:
Supporting Students: We will provide programs, activities, and events that enrich the student experience, encourage school spirit, celebrate achievements, and create lasting memories.
Supporting Teachers and Staff: Our teachers and staff play a vital role in the success of our students. The PTO will continue to show appreciation through recognition events, staff treats, classroom support, and initiatives designed to help meet school needs.
Building Family Engagement: We believe every family has something valuable to contribute to our school community. Throughout the year, we will offer a variety of events and volunteer opportunities that allow families to become involved in ways that fit their schedules and interests.
Strengthening Communication: We are committed to keeping families informed through ParentSquare, Facebook, newsletters, and PTO meetings. We encourage you to stay connected and share your ideas, feedback, and questions throughout the year.
Growing Community Partnerships: The support of local businesses, sponsors, and community partners helps make many of our programs possible. We are grateful for their continued support and look forward to building even stronger partnerships this year.
Fundraising with Purpose: Every fundraiser directly supports our students, teachers, staff, and school programs. We will continue to be thoughtful and responsible stewards of the funds entrusted to us while ensuring they make a meaningful impact throughout our school.
One of the greatest strengths of Social Circle Elementary School is the incredible support of our families. Whether you volunteer at an event, attend a PTO meeting, donate items, support a fundraiser, or simply stay informed - your involvement helps create a stronger school community for everyone.
We are excited about the year ahead and all that we can accomplish together. Thank you for your continued support of SCES and the PTO. We look forward to partnering with you to make this school year one filled with learning, growth, connection, and wonderful memories for our students.
Wishing you and your family a successful and joyful school year in The Circle!
